Hello Queens & Kings, I‘m Mo‘Nique aka “Coach Mo“

I can remember the day I finally learned to breathe again only to feel like I was carrying around a portable oxygen tank. It was like I had experienced a new sense of oxygen that made my entire body feel so good but it was attached to something else holding me down. Those days started when I was prescribed medicine for my anxiety, panic attacks as well as slight depression. Yes, I was the high-functioning piece of mess behind closed doors. I was the strong one that no one thought needed help.

When anything is deprived of something, it can cause some really odd things to happen and this is what happens when your mind, body, and soul are also deprived of the necessary breaths needed to function.

I learned how to function, but forgot how to breathe so on the outside my life looked amazing which caused another form of internal self-sabotage. I had to overcome an unhealthy need for validation from my childhood that led to a lot of unhealthy, self-destructive habits. Learning to understand the power of the mind, body and soul helped me overcome my unconscious self-sabotaging habits.

Many people don't know how to take control of their own thoughts and feelings. When we're not aware of our own mental processes, it's easy to get carried away by our impulses and do things that are harmful to ourselves. However, the power of the mind, body, and soul is more than capable of overcoming those unconscious self-sabotaging habits. You can learn to breathe again too.
